Ana Torres obtained her Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2017 and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington. Ana has served as a bilingual/bicultural counselor for more than five years. Her approach to treatment is strength-based, client-centered, and trauma informed and she strives to create a therapeutic space in which to work collaboratively with clients to meet their individual needs and goals. She utilizes treatment perspectives based on and tailored to each individual client’s needs; her tool kit includes an eclectic mix of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered (PC), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has experience working with clients to address depression, anxiety, perinatal/postpartum mental health, self-esteem, parenting support, trauma, and grief/loss.
