Who am I? Where do I fit? What is my purpose? Identity stability is the foundation for mental health. Multiple losses, such as loss of family, home, job, health etc., can inhibit a person's ability to form or maintain a coherant sense of self. These losses can be a factor in mental health challenges such as depression and anxiety. It takes courage to face fears and past wounds in order to find healing, and develop new strength and resilience. Counseling provides a safe, supportive, trustworthy, non-judgmental environment for self exploration. I have 15 years of experience as a certified health coach and life coach. After a design/art career, I have worked 5 years as a mental health therapist with a specialty in Loss of Identity and Identity Development. I use a variety of interventions, including art therapy, to empower you to find your voice,  and to assist you as you work through challenges-- finding strength and courage to rebuild your life. With the right tools and support, you can make a change and discover your "new self."
