I am a clinical social worker who has been in private practice for 15 years. Although I am trained in a variety of techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and comprehensive energy psychology, my work is collaborative and hinges entirely on your goals, comfortability and willingness to engage in the healing process. My greatest passion is discovering what works best for you and supporting you in your journey. This process takes time. Step by step, and at a pace that works for you, we can examine and utilize your resources and strengths in order to lay the groundwork to a more fulfilling life.
My work is very relationship oriented. It is a crucial part of the therapeutic process to develop a relationship of trust and mutual respect. Working together, we can take the time to explore and carefully examine the cause of dissatisfaction associated with anxiety, depression, trauma, work tension and relationship issues. Many times when we are struggling with life's ups and downs, there aren't "right" or "wrong" answers. We all truly need help and support to navigate difficult challenges and choices. No one chooses to struggle. With the right guidance, it's possible to process difficult feelings, become curious and experience relief and freedom.
